Without adequate circulation, ponds and lagoons are deprived of the oxygen needed to promote cleansing. Water on the pond surface usually has a higher temperature than deeper water. As warmer water absorbs less oxygen than cooler water, poor circulation results in less oxygen being absorbed. The CirCulator™ maximizes oxygen intake by drawing cooler water from bottom of the pond to the pond surface. Poor circulation is why stagnant ponds and lagoons lack the natural cleanliness of rivers and streams. By duplicating nature's method of circulation, the CirCulator™ revitalizes ponds and lagoons. Conventional aerators use large amounts of horsepower and turn at high speeds in an attempt to aerate the water. Surface water is churned violently but much of the deeper, cooler pond water is undisturbed. The CirCulator™ on the other hand, uses a small horsepower motor that turns at a much lower speed and draws cool water from the bottom of the pond to maximize oxygen intake in a natural way.
